Sending a Message

Ask the device to record or send a message to one of the approved contacts. (for example: “I’d like to send a message to Grandma”) then follow the device’s instructions to record and complete sending the message.

Receiving a Message

When a new message is received, the light bar will pulse yellow (except during quiet time). To listen to a new message quickly press and release the button or ask to play the new message. The most recent message from a contact can also be replayed by saying something like “(Re)play my message from Grandma”.

Quiet Time

If enabled in the device’s [Settings Page][settings], message notifications are paused during quiet time. This means that the light bar will not pulse yellow, though messages are still delivered and can be played by asking or tapping the button as usual
